An Angel Inside

Dead PeopleIn the movie, "Sixth Sense", there's a famous line that says, "I see dead people." Well I see angels. You have too. You just have to train yourself to open your eyes to their presence. Believe it or not there is an angel inside many of the people that are in your life maybe every day or every now and then when you need them. How do I know? I know, because they are unmistakable angels.

Examples I've seen include REALTORs raising money through auctions for homeless kids or kids with estranged parents. REALTORs pitching in to help a fellow co-worker down on their luck with many problems with counseling or financial assistance or even 4 a.m. in the morning trips to drop them off at the airport.

Other areas I've seen angels are unexpected phone calls from friends that know you are in trouble and drop everything to help you out not even thinking twice about it. I've seen caregivers stay at hospital rooms assisting elderly people who are not even related to them showing far more concern for the helpless, vulnerable, and sick selves than the "trained" paid professionals around them that ought to be doing a much better job.

I've even seen here in the blog community tremendous examples of giving, sharing, and having huge open hearts to touch people's lives and leave no stone unturned and letting you know how their life experience can help you out.

                                                                                                                                                                       Angel

So do you know who the angels are in your life? Would you recognize them if you saw them? Can you train yourself a little better to maybe be aware of them? Have you thanked your angel today?

Who are your angels?

Gary:  There are so many angels here at AR that I can't even begin to name them. Just recently...I've seen the best of humanity as many have shared with Melissa Grant and her family. I've seen many people give out of their need, and it has touched my heart deeply. I'm so thankful to be among the most amazing people in the world!! God bless you!!

I've seen it here, too.  I can't even remember all the specific people I've read about, but they are all around us.  I love uplifting stories.

Gary: To me you qualify for one. Everything about your writing and thoughts you express point to that. Great post.

Hi Gary,
I agree there are angels all around us and when  needs arise, they rise to the occasion.

Cynthia, it does seem that "our angels" do pop up in our time of need. It's a mystery why, and I don't try to figure it out. I just count it as another blessing.

Hi Gary, My angels are always with me. I feel them and many times they have saved my life or at least padded my fall. My family are my angels and I am grateful for them. Thank you for reminding me. Deb
