Light has ALWAYS fascinated me. From the earliest of time with the words Let there be light and there was light and it was good, it always made me think of light as a friend. You see this with buyers of homes where they FIND what they are looking for. It is a revelation. Light enters our minds at various points in time in life and we are "enlightened." Sometimes by ourselves, sometimes by others, sometimes by reading, or feeling inside, or seeing it in others.
Light is good. Do not persist in the darkness and stumble. Search for the light. Help others find the light. Walk toward the light. Many metaphors to be sure. But there just is something about the light. It is better to light a candle than curse the darkness. Find light that makes you soar. We all may be searching at various times in our life, whether it be for houses, answers, healing, or truth. Find your light and I bet you will find your inspiration and your way.
Gary, I love the light also. I love that psalm "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet And a light unto my path" Ps 119:105.

Marchel: That is one of my favorite passages too and I love the popular song that goes with that line. One interesting thing about Jose Feliciano and the song from the Doors using light as a verb, is he is blind. The blind sometimes can express better about and more passionately about light than those that see. We've heard that story many times haven't we?

There is something in our biology that makes us respond positively to light. Depressions intensify during the darkness of winter and dissipate with spring and summer's sunlight.

Arina: Unfortunately, Light came into the world, but some people preferred darkness to light, because their works were evil. It is sad. But it is also a choice, our free will. Each of us has to make our own response to the light. I love your Benjamin Franklin quote. Now there was a wise man early in our country's history.

Gary, I once gave a lesson to the youth group at our church about light; one of the coolest things we used as an illustration was a large spot light... It was amazing what that light "revealed"; all the dust, lint & particles in the air that we normally wouldn't see. Light enables us to see and encourages us to change.. Thanks again, my friend!
